SCOUTING REPORT: Skilled wing player who has good size to go along with toughness and maturity. Needs to step up for the Blue Raiders this season. Played his best basketball down the stretch in 2006-07 and factored heavily into the team's late surge. Could be on the brink of a breakout season.


2006-07 (SOPHOMORE) Improved in all areas from freshman to sophomore season, increasing his field goal percentage, 3-point field goal percentage, free-throw percentage, rebounding and scoring averages, while earning 23 starts in 32 games played ... Team was 7-1 during the 2006-07 season when he scored double figures, including seven straight wins, and the only setback came in an 11-point performance against Tennessee in the season opener ... Played best basketball down the stretch, averaging team-best 12.3 points in three SBC Tournament games ... Shot 14-of-16 (88 percent) from free-throw line and 44 percent from the field (11-of-25) and averaged 34 minutes in three tournament games ... Registered three of his nine career double-figure scoring games in last four games ... Established career highs for points with 21 and tied career high for field goals made (6) in SBC quarterfinal win at Troy (02/28/07), while also setting personal bests for free throws made (8), attempted (8), and field goal attempts (11), while leading team in scoring for third time in career ... Produced two of his top three career scoring games in two of last three outings ... Scored 17 points vs. Louisiana-Lafayette (01/27/07) ... Led team in scoring for second time in career with 15 in home win vs. Florida Atlantic (02/24/07) for the second-highest scoring game of his career ... Had solid all-around game against Tennessee in the opener with 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds, which established a new career high ... Enjoyed a strong road trip against Florida International and South Alabama, where his point total wasn't as high; however, his presence on the perimeter keyed the Blue Raiders' defensive charge in each win ... Emerged as the top perimeter defender on a Middle Tennessee team that led the SBC in scoring defense ... Connected on two 3-point attempts against Troy (01/06/07), which set a new career high ... Played career-high 40 minutes at New Orleans, where he produced his fourth career double-figure scoring game with 10.
